Angelique: Owner / Senior Stylist / New Talent Educator
Booking: Online Preferred Text for Consults or Late Cancellation: (330) 676-9663 Stylist since 1999, Skullz since 2007 What do you enjoy most about your career? I love seeing the familiar faces of my loyal clientele and being able to build a relationship that goes beyond just great hair! I also look forward to inspiring the next generation of Skullz Stylists through our education venue and salon apprenticeship program! Why Skullz? Opening Skullz Salon gave me the opportunity to create an educationally based environment for stylists and clients that is rooted in individual creativity. I have worked in many salons that were absentee owned and never challenged me as a professional. I have surrounded myself with a small group of stylists and staff that are building careers, not jobs. |
Amanda: Manager / Creative Director
Education: B.A. & M.A. in Art Education, Kent State University How did you get into the Hair Industry? I began helping out at the salon with my partner Angelique while in college with reception and graffiti decor. When my degrees were complete it seemed only natural to hop on-board full time to assist in developing our Stylist Apprentice program and Continuing Education offerings through the House of Skullz! What do you enjoy most about your career? Most of my time is spent helping the stylist educators create learning experiences for our staff and apprentices along with keeping up with the social media and web presence. I love to help our talented stylists showcase their work for the world to see! |

I enjoy having creative license to design hairstyles whether for everyday occasions or special events. Formal Styling is where I put the most of myself into my work. Why Skullz? I have experience at numerous salons during the beginning of my career. I have never found a salon that feels like a family the way Skullz does. I love coming to work and knowing that everyone supports each other to create the best hair possible. |
Savannah: Educator / Senior Stylist
Skullz Since 2010 Booking: Online Preferred Text for Consults or Late Cancellation: (330) 931-6936 How did you get into the Hair Industry? College was not for me. I wanted to enter a professional career and found cosmetology to be the most visually appealing. I grew-up in the “scene-kid” era when hair was BIG and razor cut. I wanted to learn to style hair the way I would want mine to look. Becoming a stylist would give me the foundation for my profession. What do you enjoy most about your career? I love helping people look and feel their best! Being a hairstylist means being active in an industry that will never die. Clients will always seek out professionals to help them with their hair-lifestyles. I am proud to be even a small part of that experience. |
Emily: Stylist
Skullz since 2018 Booking: Online Preferred Text for Consults or Late Cancellation: (234) 281-2627 How did you get into the Hair Industry? I got into hair because my mom's friend owned a salon and I loved to go with her and hang out with the stylists. I thought they were so cool. I ended up interning there when I was in highschool and getting to work with them inspired me more. What do you enjoy most about your career? I love that it's ever changing. New trends, different colors and styles. It's always new. Also it's nice to be able to make people feel beautiful. |
