How did you get into the Hair Industry?
College was not for me. I wanted to enter a professional career and found cosmetology to be the most visually appealing. I grew-up in the “scene-kid” era when hair was BIG and razor cut. I wanted to learn to style hair the way I would want mine to look. Becoming a stylist would give me the foundation for my profession.
What do you enjoy most about your career?
I love helping people look and feel their best! Being a hairstylist means being active in an industry that will never die. Clients will always seek out professionals to help them with their hair-lifestyles. I am proud to be even a small part of that experience.
I started at Skullz while still in cosmetology school. I spent my senior year assisting the stylists and receiving one on one lessons from Angelique. After receiving my license, earning my chair as a stylist at Skullz seemed like such a natural transition. I can't imagine working anywhere else.
